We are Leanne Whitney and Shilah Sarkissian, co-creators of the offerings here at Center for Transformation and Integration.
Leanne Whitney, PhD, is the Founder and Executive Director of Center for Transformation and Integration. A depth psychologist and transformational coach, Leanne specializes in the intersection of Western psychology with Eastern liberatory and shamanic traditions. She holds a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and a Doctorate in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. Additionally, she is a Certified Professional Coach, Certified Yoga Teacher, and author.
Shilah Sarkissian, the Center's Director of Education, is a full-time transformational coach, somatic integration therapist, mentor, and educator with over 5000 classroom teaching hours and extensive experience leading national and international retreats. She is also a Registered Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, Registered Ayurvedic Herbalist, Certified Professional Coach, and a recognized continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance (YACEP).
Together, Leanne and Shilah lead the Center with a commitment to integrate diverse healing modalities and fostering deep, transformative growth for individuals and communities.
Our Values
Our flagship certification program was born out of a desire to create an offering that reflected the importance of both an academic and embodied educational experience.
In our own roles in our respective professions, we have found that now is the time to bridge any gaps between mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual approaches.
We are both seekers and Yogis at heart, and with our combined backgrounds we have sought to create something that sits at the intersection of science and spirituality and synthesises the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of the human experience.
Center is the result of our dedicated efforts over the last few years to provide coaches with greater confidence, allowing both themselves and their future clients to flourish.
Over the last few months, we have been hard at work envisioning and co-creating a 2-year Transformational Coaching Program.
And we are excited to announce that enrollment for Fall 2024 is now open!
We understand the desire of serious students to received recognized certification by an outside body, which is why we are working with the IACTM to provide accreditation to our program.
